Born out of Glastonbury’s green fields, Big Green Gathering celebrates their 15^th Anniversary this year with an action packed 5-day event. BGG HQ can reveal legendary author Howard Marks will be stopping by the Speakers Forum to deliver one of his infamous live shows alongside another new addition Rodney Branigan; a multi talented musician who has been making waves with his unique techniques of playing 2 guitars at once and percussion with his feet.

On Sunday 2^nd August hundreds of farmers will join the 15,000 strong festival crowd to attend the national sheep shearing competition, held on the organic Fernhill farm to mark their annual highlight! Here is a taster of the bursting line up in store this year

THEATRE ADDITIONS

In theatre news we welcome on site performance company Pif Paf who will be performing their play Honey about our relationship with the natural world alongside InTents Theatre, a new company who look to create mighty performance on a miniature scale, bringing intimate shows into domes and tents.

The Smallest Acoustic Stage in the World is a small yurt randomly won in a raffle at the last Big Green Gathering! They are putting it to good use and bringing it back to serve as a beautiful performance space.

Performers without borders and Bearded Kitten are both on site sparking huge group games, workshops and teaching circus skills. Festival goers are encouraged to run away with the circus and weve got just the ticket!
