Marina And The Diamonds, Johnny Foreigner For SWN Festival

Submitted by Kevin on 10/08/2009 – 4:57 PMNo Comment

Scotland’s The Twilight Sad will bring their incredible live sound to Cardiff alongside legendary DJ and electronic taste-SWNmaker Mary Anne Hobbs.

Marina and the Diamonds will cap a phenomenal season of festivals with an appearance in the Welsh capital as well as Birmingham’s very own DIY band Johnny Foreigner.

If there is one thing you’re guaranteed at SWN it’s emerging talent and 2009 is no different. You can expect special performances from the likes Unicorn Kid, Decimals, Dimbley and Capper, Fredrick Stanley Star and Threatmantics.

Further highlights include The Victorian English Gentlemen’s Club, Goldheart Assembly and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.

SWN Festival is curated by BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens and takes place over the 22, 23 & 24 of October.

You can buy 1-day and 3-day passes here: http://www.wegottickets.com/f/901
